Rice Rice Baby

Wowzah. I feel a bit behind on blogging lately. We have been pretty busy parents. Just to help me out a little, I'm going to make a list of the blog entries I need to catch up on in the next couple of days.

1. Rice Rice Baby - Baby trying rice cereal!
2. Washington adventures; featuring a swinging Jackson.
3. Surgery, from beginning to end.

Last month we decided to give Jackson his first taste of real food. Rice cereal! Ooh lala. We had a little fiasco trying to find the baby spoons. We looked e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. A month later and they are still MIA. Oh well. We improvised and used this crazy spoon. It worked. Sort of.

Jackson wasn't so sure about the rice cereal at first.

It almost looks like we are torturing the poor kid.

We were...n't.

He's really good at eating it now. Believe it or not, he actually gets excited to eat it when we put him in his high chair.

And did I mention that Baby Boy has 2 teeth now? You can kinda see them in this picture!

Now that Jackson loves his solid food, he has trouble differentiating what is food and what is not.

Mmmm...yummy.

We're working on that.
