Ding Dong Ditch

Ryan pulled an all-nighter last night. He has done far too many this semester. He stays up all night and goes to his 8 am class bright and early. We have actually dragged a bed out in the living room, so we can be in the same room when I sleep. Sad, huh?

Well, this afternoon he came home from class, crawled into bed, and fell right to sleep. He had his phone next to him. Sometime during his little nap, he received 5 texts in a row (his phone likes to save up texts and then send them all at once). His text sound is a "ding dong!", kinda like a door bell.

After 5 "ding dongs", Ryan got out of bed, grumbling. He started walking out of the room.

"Ryan, where are you going?"

"I'm answering the door!"

"Uh Ryan, that was your phone not the door. Ryan!! Ryan!"

He was pretty groggy and confused, but finally figured it out. He opened his phone and deleted all the texts without reading them. Oops.

It's a good thing I told him, otherwise he would've gotten to the door and thought someone door bell ditched us.
